The cEDH Mulligan Trainer is a web application at https://mulligan.eldrazi.dev that helps competitive EDH players practice mulligan decisions using real decklists imported from Moxfield. It features a full goldfish playtesting engine with drag-and-drop card management, real-time multiplayer sessions, puzzle mode, and integration with tournament data from PlayNice MTG and EDH Top 16.

### Mulligan Practice
Deal opening hands from actual cEDH decklists and practice keep-or-mulligan decisions. Hands can be saved, shared, and voted on by the community (keep vs mulligan). Opponent simulation uses real tournament meta data with weighted random selection based on commander popularity.

Record game states as frames during playtesting, add annotations, and share replays via URL. Useful for demonstrating lines of play and teaching.

## Data Sources

- **Decklists**: Imported from Moxfield via their API
- **Card images**: Scryfall API (art_crop format for commanders)
- **Tournament meta data**: EDH Top 16 GraphQL API (top 50 commanders, past 3 months, minimum 20 entries)
- **Tournament hand data**: PlayNice MTG API (real tournament opening hands with outcomes)
- **Card data**: Scrollrack API (preferred) and Scryfall API

## Technology

Built with Next.js, React, Prisma ORM with PostgreSQL, PartyKit for real-time features, and better-auth for authentication. Hosted on Vercel.
