You did hit Simian Spirit Guide, so you cast Tainted Pact using Underground Sea and a colorless from Phyrexian Tower to look for either Borne or FF. You eventually hit Borne, but exile a bunch of cards you *really* wish you hadn't. You just cast and resolved Borne using Gemstone (which should have a luck counter on it) and SSG. Win the game!
